Top Question- What should we wear?

Most importantly, we want your photographs to reflect your true selves and therefore, do not prescribe a dress code for your photoshoot.

However, we have listed a few considerations that you may find useful:

  • Avoid tight-fitting or or uncomfortable clothing. We like to capture a mix of active and static shots so we want you to be able to move freely.

  • Bright patterns and busy fabrics can take the spotlight away from you and can sometimes clash with the natural backdrop.

  • Neutral colours work well in all seasons and will create versatile images that will fit in with any colour scheme in your home.

  • In the Springtime, pastels, shades of green and light blues are a great option

  • In Summer, warm pinks, yellows, mint and sky blues look beautiful.

  • Browns, golds, cream and rusty oranges work well in the Autumn

  • Warm-up your Winter shoot with warm reds, mulberry, emerald green or teal.

  • Dressing too formally can look a little un-natural and can be uncomfortable for your little one’s if they are buttoned up to the neck and wearing clothes they are not used to wearing.

  • Wear clothes that flatter you. We want you to look your best possible self.
